Made from Kauri with a subtle chequer pattern Puriri / Kauri detail line, this is a box designed for use by both women and men.
A jewellery / accessory box for items in everyday use.
The Kauri which we use in our work comes from stumps and head logs left behind on the forest floor, often over 100 years ago, when the milling of Kauri was taking place.
Since 1985 the felling of live old growth trees has been prohibited unless the wood has been required for nationally important purposes.
